Quality Engineer – Ilfracombe – £45,000 – plus excellent relocation allowance, pension, corporate benefits and bonus

 

Melbreck Technical are working with a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist equipment, based in North Devon in Ilfracombe.

If you are an ambitious quality professional, looking to make the step up in to a quality manager role in two years, and someone who thrives in a quality driven environment then this is a perfect opportunity for you.

As a Quality Engineer, you will identify and resolve quality issues, lead continuous improvement initiatives within cross-functional teams, and act with a high degree of autonomy as a driver of positive change across the business.

 

Quality Engineer – Role Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001

Maintain the QMS

PPAP Submission Management

Ensure that project and/or process control documentation is compliant

Lead programmes to assess quality performance

Development of a “right first time” culture.

 

Quality Engineer – Skills and Experience Requirements:

Previous experience as a Quality Engineer

Strong analytical capabilities

Strong working knowledge and experience of using problem solving techniques

Internal Auditor Qualified

Degree Qualified or Level 6 Quality Assurance qualification

If you have a Six Sigma Qualification this would be a distinct advantage.
