Quality Manager – Contract – Outside IR35 – £350 to £400 per day – Chester

 

Melbreck Technical are working with a leading engineering specialist who support and supply multiple markets across the world, including Oil & Gas, Defence and Aerospace.

 

Due to planned expansion at their site near Chester, they are looking for a Quality Manager to come on board for a 12 month contract in a consulting capacity.

 

 

Quality Manager – Job Role:

 

To design, implement and maintain the QA systems of the company

Lead the Design, Implementation and Maintenance of the QMS to ISO 9001 standard

Lead programmes to assess quality performance and cost-of-quality using statistical and analytical methods

Develop, maintain and improve customer and supplier relationships

Ensure that project and/or process control documentation is compliant

Act as the point of contact for statutory, regulatory and certification bodies.

Leading the implementation of Statistical Process Control

Handle any interdepartmental activities relating to the assurance of Quality

Apply continuous improvement and key lean principles

Manage and lead root cause investigations

 

 

Quality Manager – Candidate Requirements:

 

Internal Auditor ISO 9001 qualified

Minimum Level 6 qualification in Quality Assurance OR City & Guilds QA OR minimum 6 years direct vocational experience.

Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001

Experience of Oil & Gas or ASME Codes

BSc / BA / H.Dip in a relevant discipline

6 Sigma Green Belt

Thorough knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 14001 Auditor
