Logistics Manager – Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick – £45,000 to £60,000 – Plus class leading Pension and Bonus – 4 days working on site 1 day working from home

 

Melbreck are working with a class leading designer and manufacturer of specialist engineered solutions that are used across the world in a variety of industries and sectors.

This particular site is set to grow in the immediate future with some exciting changes coming, and as such they are looking to hire a Logistics Manager to join their business ASAP.

 

Logistics Manager – Role Overview:

The overall purpose of this position is to coordinate all warehouse activities, including processing of imported goods and export of finished goods.

Ensuring customer service deliverable are met in terms of delivery, reliability, quality, cost efficiency and safety at work are critical to the success of the business.

Oversees the distribution center, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflows.

Strive to meet corporate service and quality objectives in the most efficient manner possible.

Manage the budget for team departments, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial efficiency.

Direct strategic logistics and warehouse functions.

Ensure accuracy in local inventory management, minimizing discrepancies and enhancing operational efficiency.

Manage warehouse claims, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.

Oversee import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

Monitor the performance of local transportation.

Engage in talent development and succession planning.

Develop a lean strategy for operations.

Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

 

 

Logistics Manager – Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics

2-3 years’ work experience in foreign trade/logistics/customs

Analytically minded and problem solving oriented

Fluent in English including technical language

 

 

Logistics Manager – Hours and Benefits:

08.00 to 16.30 – Monday to Thursday

08.00 to 14.30 – Friday

25 days holiday + bank holidays

£45k to £60k

Pension up to 15%

Bonus up to 10%
