Are you an ambitious Design Manager or Engineering Manager looking to Fastrack your career?

At Melbreck Technical, we are working with a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist equipment based in Dorchester, Dorset.

Due to continued growth from a key division they are looking to hire an Engineering Manager to join them on a permanent basis ASAP.

This role will be crucial for leading the day to day operations of the Design and Technical Team, as well as managing headcount, skills, resources and planning.

A key aspect of the role will be to ensure that systems and procedures are in place to run an effective and efficient Engineering function, that fulfils the needs of their customers.

You will work closely with the senior management team, both in the UK and abroad to develop strategic plans to grow the business.

The role is cross functional in nature as you will be providing technical expertise to internal functions such as Operations and Sales, as well as technical advice to their customers

 

Engineering Manager – applicant requirements:

Degree in an Engineering field

Possess an ability to prioritise your time and the wider team

Excellent communication skills are an absolute must

Considerable experience of leadership and people management

Demonstrable experience of engineering environments

Experience of 3D CAD and FEA Modelling

Possess a good understanding and ability to analyse data.
