Warehouse Operative, £20,000 pa
Melbreck Technical are working alongside Magnet Schultz, a world leader in the design and manufacture of special-purpose electric locking and holding mechanisms.
They are based in Woking, Surrey and they are looking to identify additional support for their logistics and warehouse team in the form of a Warehouse Operative.

Warehouse Operative job responsibilities:
Receive, Inspect, Store, Select, Pack and dispatch parts and products.
Operate machinery in a manner that is safe for yourself and others.
Maintain constructive working relationships within the Company and Group.
Support the development of colleagues.
Keep Company information and property secure.
Carry out appropriate test or inspection of incoming goods to ensure they meet agreed quality standards.
Book-in deliveries from suppliers in line with agreed practice.
Transfer product to and from stock in accordance with appropriate procedures.
Pack products in line with procedures including the attachment of paperwork and labels.
Supervise the collection of parcels and pallets by the Company’s carriers.
Operate the stacker in a safe and efficient manner.
Book-in customer returns.
Organise material re-cycling.
Keep the warehouse environment and stock clean for customer visitors and other employees.
Carry out perpetual inventory checks in line with company procedures.
Warehouse Operative, person specification:
Clear thinking and well organised
Experience of working in a small and busy warehouse is ideal but not essential
Warehouse Operative Salary, Hours and Benefits:
Basic salary of £20k
Annual Sales Commission Subject to company performance
Annual Profit Bonus Subject to company performance
Pension up to 6% of basic salary (matched)
Holiday 23 days pa + statutory days
Death in Service insurance (non-contributory)
Medical/Dental insurance (non-contributory)
Office hours: 08:30 – 17:00 / Mon – Fri
