Melbreck Technical are working with a wold leading manufacturer of special purpose equipment that are used in a multitude of safety critical industries.

They are currently looking to strengthen their HR team within one of their sites in Hampshire, near Alton, and as such are looking to recruit a senior HR Adviser to join their business.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be a trusted strategic business partner  within the business to continuously improve their culture of engagement, innovation and teamwork to help the Division achieve exceptional performance by providing premier HR service whilst maximising the potential of all their people and realising their goal as Employer of Choice.

It is a fast paced working environment where change and accountability for results is a key feature of the role.

Job Responsibilities:

To be a trusted strategic business partner within the business and play a key role within the  location management team

Advise managers in the business on all human resource issues, in accordance with employment law, best practice, policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment.

Support the Division HR Manager in implementing HR strategy in line with Division objectives to deliver business results.

Manage the entire recruitment and selection process in line with the Division strategy to attract talent.

Coordinate the quarterly performance review process to ensure the continued development of employees

Work closely with line managers to ensure the highest levels of attendance and timekeeping are achieved.

Assist with change management activities.

Facilitate employee engagement focus groups and assist with survey planning, reviewing and communicating results

Prepare monthly KPI reports in relation to productivity, absence and labour turnover.

Be responsible for the accuracy of employee data held.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in HR, preferably within a fast paced manufacturing environment

University degree or equivalent qualification/experience supported by CIPD certification (or working towards)

Experience of working in a Generalist HR role

Working knowledge of employment law

High level of customer focus

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to forge good working relationships at all levels within the organisation

Structured approach with strong planning and organisational skills

Flexible to accommodate ever changing working environment and demands place upon it in a positive manner.
