Melbreck Technical are working with leading designer and manufacturer of special purpose equipment and one that supplies a multitude of industries.

Due to planned growth they are looking to add support to their operational team and are currently looking to hire a Head of Quality, Safety and Environmental for their facility in Somerset.
As the Head of Quality, Safety and Environmental the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Promoting safety and product safety across the business and develop systems to mitigate risks.
Developing the quality and safety culture across the business.
Leading product safety and significant service reliability investigations inline with customer processes.
Ensuring that SQE objectives, targets and KPI’s are set, reviewed and implementation plans are established to meet them.
Ensuring that all new legislation and guidance is studied and implemented as required into policies, procedures and processes.
Monitoring and managing customer complaints, service failures and warranty claims and ensure that appropriate corrective action are taken.
Promoting and Driving continuous improvement throughout the company.
Reviewing and assessing the adequacy of the organisation quality, safety and environmental policies.
Overseeing the selection and performance monitoring of the supply chain, working alongside the Purchasing team to build partnership.
Working alongside the engineering and projects teams to review risks and opportunities for
each project and monitor through the use of the quality gate system, performing reviews at
each milestone.
In order to be successful in you application you must have experience form a production or manufacturing background, have experience in maintaining and implementing QHSE procedures and standards and have an industry recognised qualification or chartered institute affiliation.
