Melbreck Technical are working with an industrial leading designer and manufacturer of specialist scientific equipment who are based near Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire.
They are looking for the right candidate to join their business and help them develop some of the best equipment in their field worldwide.
Responsibilities may include the following
- Characterisation of systems
- Design of systems
- Define and write up protocols for the implementation of in-line testing for their manufacturing and assembly line
- Participate in semiconductor/ device-physics process discussions relating to the optimisation of system fabrication and design
In order to be successful in your application, it is proffered that you will have 2.1 or higher in a Physics or related subject, including courses in optics and solid-state physics.
You should be able to demonstrate practical experience in experimental physics, ideally from completion of research projects.
The closing date for applications will be the 1st of July with Interviews being held on the week beginning the 8th of July.
The start date for this role ill be late July / Early August.
The salary on offer for this position is £25,000 with yearly salary reviews and additional benefits included.
