Electronic Design Engineer – Sandy, Bedfordshire – £40,000 to £55,000 – plus pension and benefits
Melbreck Technical are working with this world leading designer and manufacturer of specialist technology and equipment who supply in to a variety of industries.
Due to planned growth within their technical team they are now looking to hire an Electronic Design Engineer to join their team ASAP.
Electronic Design Engineer – Role Overview:
The Electronics Design Engineer will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and will be expected to actively engage with the full product life cycle. You will work in providing electronics expertise necessary to support the design, manufacture and testing. You will also be responsible for developing products from concept stage, designing schematics and PCB layouts. |
Electronic Design Engineer – Role Responsibilities:
Design of complex, multi-layer PCBs. Design of machine and test probing cabling. Preparing documentation. Designing bespoke requirements around the core product platform based on customer specifications Resolving issues with legacy products fault finding etc. Maintaining equipment and product Certification to ensure conformity to European standards (CE marking) Liaising and assisting the sales department with specifications at quotation stage Assisting and liaising with other internal departments on all electrical aspects of products
Electronic Design Engineer – Candidate Requirements:
Experience in R&D – designing and developing new products. Broad electronics experience. Experience in the design of complex, multi-layer PCBs. Analogue and digital design. Poses a good understanding of firmware and software interactions with micro controller based designs in C or C++.

37.25 hours per week |

Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 Friday: 08:30-15:30 |
9% pension (when you contribute 3%)
