Melbreck Technical are working with a world leading organisation in their field who specialise in special purpose products for the Defence and Aerospace sector.
With direction and governance from the Business Unit Manager, the job role is to manage and grow the customer base of the major OEMs (Europe & Asia). The role requires involvement from the stage of shaping customers’ requirements, managing Requests for Proposals/Requests for Quotations, preparation and submission of proposals and commercial/contract negotiations.
The role requires development and delivery of growth strategies for each of the existing customer accounts that will increase sales, gross margin and profitability. An application of dynamic pricing strategies that will increase margin and productivity within existing customers and support the acquisition of new business is crucial for the role.
The position is focused on expansion of the existing customer base through entry into new markets & winning and introducing profitable new business that meets strategic business objectives.
Job Holder Requirements:
·Experience in an Aviation or Defence sales & marketing/business development environment, commercial awareness, negotiation and excellent people management are essential.
·IT, data interrogation and analytical skills are required.
